Walls

We build walls to protect us....walls of guilt, rejection, hurt, ...everywhere i look i see walls and strongholds.

Walls 

Definition of wall

1a : a high thick masonry structure forming a long rampart or an enclosure chiefly for defense —often used in plural

b : a masonry fence around a garden, park, or estate

c : a structure that serves to hold back pressure (as of water or sliding earth)

2: one of the sides of a room or building connecting floor and ceiling or foundation and roof

3: the side of a footpath next to buildings

4: an extreme or desperate position or a state of defeat, failure, or ruin 

• the surrounded troops had their backs against the wall

5: a material layer enclosing space 

• the wall of a container

 

• heart walls

6: something resembling a wall (as in appearance, function, or effect); especially : something that acts as a barrier or defense

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

We build up walls for ourselves....all...the...time....got hurt? got offended? didn't get your way? jealous? Maybe it's a stronghold...addiction, mindsets, spiritual attacks...that list goes on...
We have to check ourselves! We must be quick to forgive and repent the instant we feel those walls start to go up! Oh, and they aren't going to be easy to tear down either! And if you do get one torn down, you can bet another one will try to build up else where! We have to be in the Word! We have to be prayed up! We have to be fill of the Holy Ghost!

The devil walks around like a lurking lion....seeking whom he may devour....he comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10)...any and everything that you will let him! He wants you, your family, marriage, finances/career, children, church, city on and on!! The devil doesn't want you to tear down those walls! He doesn't even want you to know they are there!!! Wake up, people!!!!!!!! Lord, help us!!! We need the Lord, like we have never needed Him!!

Let yourself be vulnerable to the Lord and to the authority of your pastor and start tearing down!!
You can overcome and have victory!!!!
Chains can be loosed and broken in the name of Jesus!!
