When the Lord Speaks!

I'll just say we are in a trial. We are in the valley of decision. Our church services the last couple of weeks have just been absolutely dynamite! I have been impressed by His Spirit and God has given me a Word of encouragement! God gave me a Word! I love it when God speaks to me! I love the wisdom, understanding and discernment that He gives to me when I ask of Him! My God is real!! He is there for me and you too! It excites me to know God cares for me and what I'm going through to touch and speak to me! The word that was given to me was: God will never leave me nor forsake me. He will never give me more than I can bear. He has my answers and hears my questions. To use my time digging into His Word and prayer and that His Word will be a lamp unto my feet! My mind has been quite fuzzy lately and I just can't remember it all, but it was awesome! It was at a time when I NEEDED a word from the Lord. I NEEDED to feel His presence! I NEEDED to know He will never leave me nor forsake me! He hears me and will answer! He will show me what way to go! I just have to step out in faith and trust Him. Now these scriptures I am about to share w/ you I did not look up intentionally!

Deuteronomy 31:6- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 138:3, 7-8 - In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Jeremiah 29:12-13- They you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

Yesterday I was driving home from taking the kids to school. (Yes, they are all in school!!!)  I was praying and I just told the Lord, "I want to hear your voice!" "When I say good morning, I want to hear you say it back!" Well, when I got home to read my devotional this is what it said:

I AM with you, I am with you. I am with you. Heaven's bells continually peel with that promise of My presence. Some people never hear those bells because their minds are earthbound and their hearts are closed to Me. Others hear the bells only once or twice in their lifetimes, in rare moments of seeking Me above all else. My desire is that my "sheep" hear my voice continually, for I am the ever-present Shepherd.
Quietness is the classroom where you learn to hear my voice. Beginners need a quiet place in order to still their minds. As you advance in this discipline, you gradually learn to carry the stillness with you wherever you go. When you step back into mainstream of life, strain to hear those glorious bells: I am with you. I am with you. I am with you.

Jeremiah 29:12-12 above
John 10:14, 27-28
I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I will give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand.

Shortly after I read these passages a song was playing from one of my worship mixes and it was fitting to this!!! WOW! It may not seem like much to you, but it does to me! This is just one example! God has again and again shown himself to me! He has proven to be there through His Word! His Word is a lamp unto my feet! I don't know the plans He has for my family, but I believe in Him! I know He will never leave us nor forsake us! He will open and shut the right doors! He will and has provided for every need! It may not have been when or what I wanted, but it was what He wanted! All I want for my family is God's will!

These special times we get w/ the Lord are crucial to remember, like I would forget!? Because there comes the dry times when you feel like the Lord isn't there and that He doesn't care for you! But, we can't fall into the Devil's trap! All the Devil wants us to pull us away from the Lord and one of the best ways is by our emotions!

When we truly search God w/ our whole heart He will be found! We need God more than we need air to breathe! I can feel a reviving in my spirit, even though the Devil has been there to try and bat me down, I'm rising up!! Spend time w/ the Lord! Pray, read, worship and fast! Give yourself wholly to Him! Submit to Him and the Devil will flee!! Plead the Blood of Jesus over you, your mind & heart your day, family, church..praying in the Holy Ghost!!

We must have God's Spirit living in us... Acts 2:38-39   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
*We must have the holy ghost w/ evidence in speaking in other tongues!! Contrary to what some people believe...we do not automatically get or receive God's Spirit living in us just by accepting Him into our hearts! It's about the baptism!! This is just one of the devils ways of deception! We can not take what we want out of the Bible! It's not for us to debate what is for today and what's not! I have the Holy Ghost w/ evidence in speaking in other tongues!! It still happens today...all over the world! Ask the Lord to show you and give you understanding, wisdom and knowledge about receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost! We must also be baptized in Jesus' name-Acts 2:38. Not only is the Holy Ghost is a PROMISE, but is a necessity and it's for our children also!!!
