My Babies: The Eye of Faith

Sometimes you have to have the eye of faith before you receive it. I have proof it works! Romans 4:17 "We serve a God who gives life to the dead and speaks of NONEXISTENT things as if they (already) existed." Well, before I met Steven and got married.....long before...I've never really had a plan for my life. I settled for the factory life. I tried going back to school, still really not knowing what for, just trying. I've just always known that I wanted to be a wife, Mommy, maybe a stay home Mommy....Well, as time went by and as I was getting older and still not finding the right person to settle down with, get married and have those babies, I wondered when it would ever happen. One thing I did do is write, confess and thank God for all the things that I would have. Well, who would have known it would be some 2-3 years later that the babies would come. I wrote down everything I wanted in my life. And, let me tell you. BE SPECIFIC!!! I told God I wanted healthy, beautiful, smart, well-behaved and mannered children......I didn't tell him how many!! lol When I wrote it down, I prayed over it and thanked God for my unborn babies. One day I decided to go yard selling and I bought baby clothes! Out of faith, I bought baby stuff for my unborn children! See that was spring of 07....and had my first set of baby girls 07/09....:) God is good and will grant us what we ask! I also wrote down in my book that I would have a christian-spirit-filled husband. I've got my husband and I know that one day he will be a christian and spirit-filled! And, actually that I think of it this worked when I was still living at home: my goal was to have my own place, easy enough. Well, what did I have my bedroom set? So, I started buying stuff and sticking it under my bed and in my closet. I was buying stuff for my own place when I was a sophomore in High School. For Christmas I was asking for kitchen ware, vacuum sweeper, I even asked for dish soap and stuff like that...lol I didn't get that stuff, but my Dad and Karel did get me a sweeper and kitchen pots and pans and all kinds of other stuff long before I moved out. You couldn't get through my room. I had stuff everywhere! When I finally got my own place, it was like Christmas! Most things were brand new and never opened!
This is my proof that having an eye of faith, confessing and thanking God for the nonexistent things works! I needed to be reminded of this! My goals get bigger and bigger each time I check one off! For example: if you are needing a spouse, home, car, money, etc....write it down, be specific, ask God and then envision it. See it and thank god for it. Pretend you already have it! You have to IMAGINE it first.
