Like Water

I realize that we are all on different levels spiritually, emotionally and physically. What I need, you may not. I am not a preacher or know it all. I do know that I have dreamed of this. I love teaching and this really isn't even teaching because this is what the Lord is teaching me and some of it is just what I have learned/ing and the Lord has lead me to research different things. Sometimes the Lord will just lead me to things and lay things on my heart. Often times it's for nobody but myself. I need this. I'm sorry if this seems repetitive, generic or old news to you, but this is what I am learning and just like to share with you. This is how I am growing spiritually in the Lord. If I learn something new, I love to share it with other people. So I'm not a teacher; I am a "sharer" HA! I made a new word!! ;) But, most of all I am preaching to myself and when I hear myself saying it...it encourages me...faith comes from hearing, hearing the Word of God. I want to be all God wants me to be! I want to please him! I know I'm not where I need to be, but I praise God I'm not where I used to be!!!

A few days ago I kept thinking about the word stagnant. I've never really heard it preached before and I'm probably not going to bring it across as good as it sounds in my head. Lord, help me. :)  This is a little bit of what I learned and it's all over the place because that's how my mind works; again help me, Lord!! ;)

I can only hope and pray that you feel inspired to dig in yourself; check yourself and grow in the Lord to the fullest extent that the Lord has for you and me.

Our hearts like water...

In Jesus, baptized in Jesus name and filled w/ the holy ghost...the water will be clean, pure and crisp.

Think about before you had Christ in your life...accepted Jesus into your heart, repented, gone down in that water in Jesus name and received the Holy Ghost!!

If you do not have a right heart or have the truth your water can become lukewarm. When we lose the passion for the Lord and His Word we become Lukewarm and start compromising!! This is dangerous!!!

What does lukewarm mean!!!? Are you lukewarm?

What does the bible say about being lukewarm:


If your heart has ugly junk in it...junk will be in the water becoming cold and stagnant.

To get out of stagnant water it must go through filteration before it is good again to drink.

The Holy Ghost is our filter!!!! Over our mind, heart and our mouth!!!

I don't know why I'm on this kick about the internal and I'm sorry if this is generic or old news for you, but I need to be cleansed regularly! Renewed daily!!

Cold hearted water can become FROZEN! Has your heart grown wax cold?

   What happens when water is in a dry place?? It will eventually dry competely up!! What happens when we dry up!!! We can die!!!!

How does a heart become stagnent?

There are dangers in stagnant water! It is not safe to drink. It has no nutrients in it. It has no good value. It stinks and is slimy!

Standing water. Water stagnation occurs when water stops flowing. Stagnant water can be a major environmental hazard.^{[citation needed]} it can cause mosquitoes to breed and reproduce that may lead to dengue.^[              

Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water...

Dangers[edit]

Malaria and dengue are among the main dangers of stagnant water, which can become a breeding ground for the mosquitoes that transmit these diseases.

Stagnant water can be dangerous for drinking because it provides a better incubator than running water for many kinds of bacteria and parasites. Stagnant water is often contaminated with human and animal feces, particularly in deserts or other areas of low rain.^[1]

Causes and prevention[edit]

Stagnant water may be classified into the following basic, although overlapping, types:

• Water body stagnation: stagnation in swamps, lakes, lagoons, rivers, etc.
• Surface and ground water stagnation; puddles
• Trapped water stagnation. The water may be trapped in human artifacts (discarded cans, plant pots, tires, dug-outs, roofs, etc.), as well as in natural containers, such as hollow tree trunks, leaf sheaths, etc.

To avoid ground and surface water stagnation, drainage of surface and subsoil is advised. Areas with a shallow water table are more susceptible to ground water stagnation due to the lower availability of natural soil drainage.

Excessive watering may cause ground or surface water stagnation.

Life that may thrive in stagnant water[edit]

Some plants prefer flowing water, while others, such as lotuses, prefer stagnant water.

Various anaerobic bacteria are commonly found in stagnant water. For this reason, pools of stagnant water have historically been used in processing hemp and some other fiber crops, as well as linden bark used for making bast shoes. Several weeks of soaking makes bast fibers easily separable due to bacterial and fermentative processes known as retting.

What is living in your water!!? What has grown roots in your spirit that the Lord needs to break!?
It may not be us...yes, for me, the Lord is still working on me...but, for those closest to us! How can we better pray for them!!? Unless we know what is going on. Unless the Lord would allow us to see.

Contaminated..polluted..

those 21 things that stop God's flow...is in our water that the Devil tries to contaminate us w/ daily!! All this pollution we have to fight off daily...only w/ God's Word, prayer, fasting and the unction of the Holy Ghost!
