Without being filled with the Holy Ghost, you are an outsider looking in. Without the Holy Ghost, the veil remains between you and God. The Holy Ghost removes the veil. 2 Cor 3:15-17 - "Unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
I love this song also..."let the power of the holy ghost fall on me!!" That should be our prayer every day!! We need nothing more than the Holy Spirit living radically inside of us, working it's way out!! There is nothing more we should want, crave or need more than Jesus!! I know I can not get enough!!

I heard the preaching last night at church and it was amazing, like always and spoke right to my heart--just like it was right for me. That's how God works! He can use man to bring forth a word to us!! I always pray for a word to be spoken to me and for confirmation and last night blew me away! Anyways...he was talking about feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit. There are those services where you just can't even stand the holy spirit is so strong! And especially, I love it when I get slain in the spirit!! There are no words to describe it and it's just a divine visitation from the Holy Spirit and when you completely yield to him and surrender amazing things can happen! I've said it once and I've said it again I have done just about every physical feeling, high, drunk and sex that you can think of and NOTHING compares to the feeling I got when I got the Holy Ghost!! Nothing compares when the Holy Spirit encounters YOU! I have never wanted anything more! I have never been so hungry and thirsty for anything more than Jesus!! I was addicted to cigarettes and done various drugs for years; delivered completely now of course, but nothing compares to Jesus!! I LOVE those services! I want every service to be like that!! I don't want to get comfortable and not even realize He is there!! I have been in several services that I can look back on and remember and think I want that back! I want more of that!
Sometimes I don't feel like we give Him enough time to let God be God and do what He wants and needs to do in our services. I know we are tired and distracted, but if we can stay prayed up through the week and keep God's Word in our heart and mouths when we come in on church night we will be ready and expecting for the Holy Spirit to move and break through!! I wonder what would happen if the WHOLE church would come into a church service ready, anticipating and expecting God to meet us!! I wonder what would happen if we were ALL unified in the spirit. I wonder what would happen if we were all prayed up and focused on Jesus!! I wonder what would happen if we took no compromise and to totally sell out, surrender and lay it all out on the altar!! Could you imagine the move of God in that house!!? COME ON!!

I encourage you to pray and seek the Lord. Ask Him to take off the blinders on your eyes and ears. Ask the Lord to show you the truth. Ask the Holy Spirit to come into your heart and fill you overflowing!
